Microneedling
SkinPen Microneedling in Peoria, AZ
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a powerful skin rejuvenating procedure that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring.
Tiny micro needles are used to create controlled micro punctures in the outer layer of the skin. The body treats these small wounds by sending fibroblasts to create more collagen in the affected areas, resulting in smoother, firmer, brighter, more even skin tone and an overall more youthful appearance.
Microneedling is minimally invasive, requiring very little to no downtime. This treatment can be performed on all skin tones as it uses no heat. A series of 3-6 treatments is recommended to achieve maximum results.
With PRF
When you combine SkinPen Microneedling with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), you can enjoy longer-lasting, more effective results. PRF is derived from the patient’s blood and is infused directly into the micro-injuries created by the needles, amplifying the benefits. PRF works with the natural regenerative properties of your skin to enhance collagen and elastin production, which can help your skin produce even more collagen after your microneedling treatment. PRF contains growth factors that promote a fast recovery and better results
