The Aerolase Neo Elite Laser is a revolutionary ND-YAG 1064 laser that has been FDA-cleared to treat 36 skin conditions of all skin types and tones. Its 650-microsecond short pulse duration technology – exclusive to Aerolase, allows it to penetrate deeply into the skin effectively without harming surrounding skin tissue. This makes it safe for all skin types without the use of numbing, skin cooling, or downtime.
A skin consultation will be performed on all patients prior to receiving any laser treatments. Although most people are good candidates for laser, you should wait to be treated if you are/have:
Pregnant/nursing
On any antibiotics (please wait 2 weeks before treatment)
Botox/fillers (please wait 2 weeks before treatment)
Sunburned or irritated skin/open wounds
Herpes simplex in treatment area
Spray tan or self-tan must wait until tan application has resolved
Unidentified skin conditions/raised lesions (please be checked by a dermatologist first)
Those who have healed poorly from laser treatments prior or prone to keloid scarring should not receive treatment
On Accutane or other photosensitizing medications. Must wait at least 6 months after Accutane
Autoimmune disorders such as Lupus or other light-sensitive conditions should not be treated
Cancer or undergoing chemotherapy or radiation should not be treated. Must be in remission at least 1 year.

Before Treatment:
Please come with a clean face/area to be treated. We will use alcohol wipes to remove any excess dirt/oils.
If you work out, please do so before your appointment (excessive sweating, saunas/hot saunas is not recommended 48 hours post treatment)
If you are receiving hair removal or treatment for PFB, please shave 1-2 days prior to your treatment.
After Treatment:
Avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours
No excessive sweating, heat, hot showers/saunas for 48 hours
Wear UVA/UVB broad spectrum daily (SPF 30 minimum) Reapply every 2 hours
Please follow any additional post care instructions provided by your Aesthetician

There is a mild sensation of heat but most patients find it tolerable. Neo Elite’s unique 650 microsecond pulse design allows for a virtually pain-free treatment without the use of numbing.

Number of treatments will vary depending on each individual and condition. On average, at least 6 treatments are needed, sometimes more, sometimes less. Hair removal sessions will require more treatments to see results.

It is recommended to complete the full treatment schedule at the recommended treatment intervals to achieve the best results. This could take up to 6-10 months depending on your treatment plan.

Neo Elite has a 90% efficacy when all treatment plans are followed along with proper maintenance and home care. Not all skin conditions can be cured or be permanently treated but rather controlled to most patient’s satisfaction. Many intrinsic and extrinsic factors will continue to play a role as we age. It is highly recommended to wear sunscreen daily (UVA/UVB broad spectrum) and reapply every 2 hours.
